bar that movie set, there were no wrenches thrown on Friday, March 30, when the International Club hosted a dodgeball game. The stage was set that afternoon, complete with squeaking sneakers on gym floors, a table with sandwiches and soft balls lined up on the ground

Paul Ragouzis, sophomore, said he attended because he hadn’t played dodgeball since high school and it seemed like something fun to do. Freshman Isabelle Herman said that she was participating in the dodgeball game to get a workout.

“It’s a fun sport that’s not in the Olympics, sadly. [My goal is] to not get hit in the face,” said Herman.

Some students were more competitive, like Joshua Ellis, sophomore.

“I’m here to win,” said Ellis.” That’s it.”
International Club, a club dedicated to sharing the stories of Meramec’s diverse student body, hosts many events on campus. Their next event is the International Club Banquet, which will take place on April 14. Contact club president Grace Dada for more information.
