The Magic went 5-1 at the Meramec Duals, which put the team at 9-3 for the season.

The Duals were held Jan. 30-31 in STLCC-Meramec’s
gymnasium. Four teams came to
Meramec for the Duals,
including then fifth ranked Iowa Lakes Community College.
Meramec easily defeated Rend Lake Junior College (IL), 43-9, Neosho Community College (KS), 31-14, and Rochester Community and Technical College (MN),34-9.
The two closest matches were between Iowa Lakes and Lindenwood University junior varsity.
Friday night Meramec
defeated the fifth ranked Iowa Lakes Lakers 23-20.
The lone loss Meramec suffered was their last match of
the duals. Lindenwood defeated The Magic 22-18.
Due to injuries, Meramec was forced to forfeit several matches, including the deciding heavyweight final match.
Now, Meramec is ranked fifth NJCAA wrestling polls.
