Meramec’s Annual Literary Magazine Released Today

Celebration at 2 p.m. in Library Confluence Room

STLCC-Meramec’s annual literary arts magazine “Currents” releases its latest issue today, Apr. 4. The celebration will be held in the library confluence room beginning at 2 p.m.

The magazine’s forty-sixth volume consists of writings by students in the form of plays, poems, short stories, memoir, fiction and other literary works. The release celebration will feature performances of plays written by fellow students Daniel McKinley and Clinton Borror, as well as readings from Jacob Hight, James Futhey, David Bunting, Binky Ballard, and other students.

The celebration is part of the 2012 Meramec Writing Festival “The Underbelly of Belly Laughs: Humor and the Written Word”. Those interested in submitting a work for “Currents” should do so by emailing their work to mccurrents@stlcc.edu.
