Today, STLCC Communications Manager Nez Savala sent out a press release to all STLCC media organizations announcing adjustments that will impact many face-to-face and hybrid courses in the first four weeks of the spring 2021 semester due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Classes of these types will meet in-person during the first scheduled session, so that students can meet their instructor, learn class expectations, ask questions and understand available resources.

After that first scheduled in-person session, most courses will shift to a live virtual lecture format for at least four weeks, through mid-February. After President’s Day (Feb. 15), the college will decide whether to continue with the adjusted format.

Savala also stated that classes that are already fully online or held in a live virtual lecture format during the semester will not have changes. Also according to the press release, students who have questions about spring 2021 classes are asked to contact an academic advisor.
