STLCC closes all campuses following Grand Jury announcement in Ferguson

All campus closed until Monday, Dec. 1

breakingnewsSt. Louis Community College announced this evening that campus would be closed until Monday, Dec. 1, thus canceling regularly scheduled classes on Tuesday, Nov. 25 and Wednesday, Nov. 26.

The announcement was disbursed first through the STLCC alert system to notify students, staff and faculty about the closure at 9:39 p.m. and later posted on the STLCC website, following riots and fires in Ferguson, Mo. following a press conference announcing that Officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the Aug. 9 shooting of Michael Brown.

McCulloch said the Grand Jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson at an 8:15 p.m. press conference Nov. 24.

All St. Louis public schools are closed for tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 25, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
