On Nov. 18, 2009, Service Learning hosted the annual Empty Bowls Luncheon for Hunger Awareness month. Speakers from local food pantries attended and ceramic bowls created by Jim Ibur's ceramics class were sold for $10. All of the proceeds went to Operation Food Search.
