A Breakfast for staff to celebrate their accomplishments

The first campus coffee event kicked off on Friday morning, Sept. 23. It went from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. in BA 105. The early morning breakfast aims to acknowledge faculty members for their accomplishments.Staff at Breakfast

“It recognizes the hard work of people in student affairs and academic affairs,” Dean of Business and Communications Julie Fickas said. “It is a way to recognize those people who do really unique work.”

The internal event recognized 11 faculty members at Meramec. Fickas and Provost Carol Lupardus plan to host more morning coffees as well as an afternoon tea in case faculty are unable to attend morning events.

“It’s about mingling and en- joying coffee with colleagues,” Lupardus said.
